The Opportunity We are seeking a Supply Chain Planner to own and optimize the just-in-time inventory strategy supporting this fast-paced, on-demand manufacturing environment. This individual will play a critical role in balancing rapid fulfillment requirements with inventory efficiency and working capital management. The Supply Chain Planner will build and maintain a strategic library of high-runner wire harness and electrical components while developing forecasting strategies that help ensure materials are available when customers need them.


What You'll Do • • • Build and maintain a Strategic Component Library supporting target customer and product requirements, including: Multiple wire variants, including TXL, SXL, GXL, Tefzel, and others High-runner connector families and series 1 Thousands of crimp terminals • • • • • • • • • Standard electrical and harness accessories Develop and manage a focused inventory strategy emphasizing smart SKU selection and high component overlap. Support rapid fulfillment requirements, including 24-hour fulfillment goals and 1–2-day JIT replenishment through distribution partners. Develop predictive demand forecasting capabilities using available data, BOM information, and advanced technology tools to identify material requirements before orders are finalized. Identify and prioritize long-lead components for strategic stocking while maintaining appropriate JIT strategies for commodity materials. Develop processes for specialty-item detection and identifying appropriate component alternatives when needed. Drive inventory performance and inventory turns while identifying slow-moving SKUs and opportunities to optimize working capital and supply chain efficiency. Build and support strategic relationships with key suppliers and distribution partners to establish rapid replenishment and vendor-managed inventory opportunities. What You Bring • • • • • • • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Operations, Engineering, or a related field; equivalent experience will also be considered. 3+ years of experience in supply chain planning, procurement, materials management, or a related discipline. Experience supporting electrical components, wire harnesses, cable assemblies, or similar manufacturing environments is strongly preferred. Strong ERP experience and advanced Excel skills. A highly analytical, data-driven approach to inventory planning and demand forecasting. Familiarity with wire, connector, terminal, and electrical component families. Experience or familiarity with MES systems, production dashboards, and warehouse management systems (WMS). 2 Preferred Qualifications • • • Experience working with electrical component distributors and suppliers. Experience negotiating or supporting Vendor Managed Inventory (VMI) or rapid replenishment programs. Experience in a fast-paced, high-mix manufacturing or on-demand production environment.
