Pay:$70,000 – $110,000 per year

We are seeking a talented and meticulous person who has extensive project management and structural/miscellaneous steel detailing experience to help lead detailing efforts and manage projects from award through fabrication and erection. This is a dual-function role for someone who can produce accurate shop and erection drawings as well as own project timelines and client communication.  If you thrive on precision, enjoy working on diverse building structures, and want to make a tangible impact, this is an excellent opportunity for you to join our dynamic team in Utah.


Key Responsibilities 

  • Assist with producing structural erection and assembly drawings on schedule using Tekla Structures, incorporating any design revisions or RFI responses 
  • Manage multiple projects, which would include scheduling/preparing submittals for both approval and fabrication
  • Serve as primary point of contact for both engineers and fabricators as needed
  • Track and incorporate multiple RFIs per project 
  • Coordinate directly with engineers, fabricators, and general contractors to resolve design or field issues 


Qualifications

  • 5-7+ years of experience detailing both structural and miscellaneous steel, including stairs, rails, ladders, and related components.  
  • Prior project management or project coordination experience in steel fabrication or construction
  • Strong proficiency with Tekla Structures and/or SDS/2 
  • Extensive knowledge of steel construction, including AISC standards and codes
  • Proficiency with Bluebeam, BIM management tools, Procore, and Microsoft Excel 
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills 
  • Collaborative problem-solver who works well in a team environment 
  • Willingness to learn and grow alongside team members
