Job Description

Regional Director of Sales – Tri-State & Mid-Atlantic

About the Company

We are a record-breaking, 10-time winner of the Travel+Leisure "World’s Best" award for luxury travel. Based in New York City with a global footprint, we operate award-winning, ultra-luxury journeys across East Africa, Southern Africa, and India. We pride ourselves on a culture of excellence, loyalty, and innovation, seeking "superstars" who are motivated to grow long-term within our growing organization.

The Role

We are seeking a passionate and driven Regional Director of Sales to lead our sales efforts across the greater New York City and Mid-Atlantic areas. This is a high-impact, 100% remote role designed for a "road warrior" who thrives on building deep relationships with luxury Travel Advisors and representing an elite brand at industry events.

Key Responsibilities
  • Sales & Relationship Management: Conduct regular in-person and virtual sales calls with luxury Travel Advisors to build and nurture relationships with top-producing agencies.
  • Training & Education: Deliver engaging product training sessions and presentations, both in-person and online, to improve advisor confidence and conversion rates.
  • Brand Representation: Serve as a brand ambassador at trade shows, conferences, and high-level industry events to elevate our visibility.
  • Territory Development: Identify new business opportunities and execute a territory sales plan aligned with company growth goals.
  • Collaboration & Reporting: Work closely with our marketing team on co-branded campaigns and maintain accurate records in our CRM to track sales performance.

Candidate Profile
  • Experience: Minimum of 7–12 years in a sales role specifically within the luxury travel sector.
  • Network: You must be well-known within luxury travel circles and possess existing relationships with high-producing luxury Travel Advisors.
  • Mindset: We are looking for "out of the box" thinkers who are hardworking and highly motivated.
  • Travel: Ability to travel extensively (typically 3 days per week) throughout the Tri-State and Mid-Atlantic regions.

Compensation & Perks
  • Salary: $80,000 - $100,000 base salary, plus commission.
  • Travel Benefits: Includes an all-expense-paid safari "familiarization trip" within your first year.
  • Comprehensive Benefits: High-level medical, dental, and vision plans.
  • Professional Growth: We value long-term tenure and provide professional development assistance and continuing education.
