We are looking for a highly connected sales professional who can quickly introduce and secure placement of our products in Canadian retail grocery chains.
Key Responsibilities- Open new accounts with regional and national supermarket chains and distributors
- Present the VICI product portfolio and secure product listings
- Leverage existing buyer relationships to accelerate market entry
- Manage the full sales cycle end-to-end:
- samples → pricing → presentations → negotiations → listings → promotional planning
- Coordinate with brokers, distributors, and 3PL partners to ensure execution
- Collaborate with marketing on tastings, trade shows, TPRs, and campaigns
- Monitor competitors (pricing, shelf presence, promotions)
- Prepare sales forecasts, pipeline updates, and activity reports directly to the U.S. CEO
- Proven sales experience in frozen food / seafood retail
- Existing relationships with major retail buyers
- Demonstrated success in opening accounts and closing deals
- Strong negotiation and presentation skills
- Highly self-driven with a hunter mentality
- Proven experience selling within a mid-sized or large, well-known Canadian seafood manufacturing or trading company
- Experience working with brokers
- Knowledge of retail promotion mechanics (TPR, tastings, demos, marketing funds)
- Experience launching imported brands in Canada
- Established contacts and proven success in the industry
