A growing consumer products company is seeking a Demand Planning Manager to own forecasting and demand planning for a portfolio of established personal care and beauty brands sold through mass, grocery, drug, club, value, and eCommerce channels.
This is a highly visible role where you'll serve as the single point of accountability for the demand plan, partnering closely with Sales, Marketing, Finance, Customer Service, and Supply Planning to align assumptions, identify risks and opportunities, and drive business performance.
What You'll Do
• Own the end-to-end demand forecasting process for a category portfolio

• Lead cross-functional demand reviews as part of the monthly S&OP process
• Partner with Sales and Marketing to evaluate promotions, distribution gains, launches, pricing changes, customer events, and retailer activity
• Build and maintain a credible baseline forecast by separating recurring demand from one-time events
• Analyze POS data, shipment trends, customer ordering patterns, and market dynamics
• Present forecast changes, risks, opportunities, and assumptions to senior leadership
• Support innovation launches, product transitions, and customer-specific growth initiatives
• Drive improvements in forecast accuracy, inventory productivity, and planning effectiveness
What We're Looking For
• 7+ years of supply chain, planning, forecasting, or related experience
• 3+ years of demand planning, forecasting, S&OP, or IBP experience within a consumer products environment
• Experience in beauty, personal care, wellness, household products, OTC, food, or other fast-moving consumer categories preferred
• Strong understanding of forecasting methodologies, inventory management, and S&OP processes
• Experience working with planning systems such as Kinaxis, SAP IBP, Anaplan, APO, Blue Yonder, or similar platforms
• Advanced Excel skills and strong analytical capabilities
• Ability to translate complex data into actionable business recommendations
• Comfortable presenting to senior leadership and influencing cross-functional stakeholders
Success in This Role
The ideal candidate enjoys working at the intersection of data, commercial strategy, and operations. You'll be comfortable challenging assumptions, building consensus across functions, and telling the story behind the numbers.
This role is well-suited for someone who wants ownership, visibility, and the opportunity to influence business decisions in a fast-paced, growth-oriented environment.
Compensation:
• $130K-$150K base salary
• 15% annual bonus
• Comprehensive benefits package
• 401(k)
