Job Description

Head of Marketing

VLogic Systems · Remote (US) · Reports to the CEO

We’re looking for a hands-on marketing leader to own our top of funnel and help build the pipeline our sales team relies on. This is very much a build role. We’re still learning exactly who our best-fit buyer is and which messages land with them, so a lot of the early work is figuring that out together through testing, rather than stepping into a finished playbook. If you enjoy taking something early-stage and shaping it into a repeatable engine, you’ll feel right at home here.

About VLogic

VLogic Systems is a private-equity-backed software company in the facility management market. Our software helps large organizations — hospitals, universities, government agencies, and similar — manage their buildings, spaces, and assets. We run at roughly $11.5M in recurring revenue and about 115 people, built from three brands (VLogic, Wizard Software, and FacilityONE) that we are now combining into a single platform. Our buyers are usually facilities and operations leaders at large, complex institutions. Growing the top of funnel is one of our top priorities, and this role owns it.

The role

You will own and execute our marketing strategy end to end. The main goal is to create qualified leads and generate pipeline for sales, and you will also help grow revenue from the customers we already have as we ship new features and bring the three products together. You will report directly to the CEO and lead a team of two to three. Expect to be a player-coach, setting direction and doing the work yourself rather than handing everything off. Because we are early in understanding our ideal customer and our message, a big part of the job is running experiments to find what works, then scaling it.

What you’ll own

Demand generation

  • Plan and run campaigns across email and nurture, digital ads, and organic channels.
  • Own the numbers that matter at the top of funnel: lead volume, lead quality, and pipeline created, along with the efficiency metrics that show marketing is paying off (e.g., CAC, CAC payback, and LTV: CAC ).

Finding our market

  • Define and sharpen our ideal customer profile and the messaging that moves them.
  • A/B test channels, offers, and messages to continually refine our ICP and document the learnings across the organization.

Customer and product marketing

  • Take our steady stream of new product features to market: launch messaging, positioning, and campaigns that land with both prospects and existing customers.
  • Grow revenue from customers we already have. Lead the upsell and cross-sell effort that gets accounts onto more of the platform as we unify the three products and ship new capabilities.

Events, webinars, and community

  • Run our presence at conferences and trade shows, and build a webinar program that generates leads.
  • Build our standing in the industry associations and groups our buyers follow (facilities, healthcare, higher education, government), and grow a following there.

Brand and pipeline reporting

  • Raise VLogic’s brand awareness in a crowded market where buyers often don’t know we exist.
  • Create campaign and channel level reporting to understand what is working and what we need to change.

Team leadership

  • Lead and develop a team of two to three, and help hire as the function grows.

Who you are

  • Seven or more years in B2B marketing, ideally B2B software, with real ownership of demand generation and pipeline.
  • You have built pipeline from a standing start or in a messy, undefined market, not just run a machine someone else built.
  • A player-coach: happy to write the email, build the campaign, and pull the report, while also leading a small team.
  • Fluent in HubSpot (or a close equivalent), digital advertising, and marketing analytics.
  • Comfortable working from hypotheses and running tests, and honest about what the data says.
  • A strong, clear writer who can turn a technical product into language a buyer cares about.
  • Experience marketing complex, considered B2B purchases. Selling into facilities, real estate, healthcare, government, education, or vertical software is a plus.

Nice to have

  • Time at a private-equity-backed or fast-scaling company.
  • Account-based marketing experience against a defined target list.

Compensation and logistics

  • Target compensation of $160,000 to $180,000, depending on experience.
  • Remote within the United States.
  • Reports to the CEO.
  • Title and level can flex from Director to Senior Director or Head of Marketing for the right person.
