Director, Product Management – CRM
Location: Waltham, MA
Reports to: Chief Product Officer
Compensation: ~$200K Base + Bonus
The Opportunity
A global enterprise software organization is seeking a Director, Product Management – CRM to lead the strategy, roadmap, and commercial success of its CRM platform.
The company provides cloud-based ERP, dealer management, rental, and related software solutions to customers across the heavy equipment, construction, agriculture, material handling, and other industrial markets.
This highly visible role will partner closely with the Chief Product Officer and executive leadership while owning a CRM platform that supports the full customer lifecycle—from lead generation and quoting through equipment sales, rentals, aftermarket parts and service, and ERP/DMS integration.
Key Responsibilities
- Own the CRM product strategy, roadmap, feature prioritization, releases, and P&L.
- Develop business cases and prioritize product investments based on customer needs, market opportunities, and financial impact.
- Identify opportunities to expand AI capabilities across the CRM platform.
- Engage directly with customers to incorporate market feedback into product strategy.
- Partner with Engineering and UX to deliver scalable, intuitive solutions.
- Collaborate with Sales, Marketing, Finance, and executive leadership on product positioning, pricing, and growth strategies.
- Establish and track KPIs around product adoption, performance, growth, and business outcomes.
- Lead product management processes, methodologies, and operating discipline across the team.
- Present product strategy, roadmaps, progress, and investment priorities to executive leadership.
What We're Looking For
- 10+ years of Product Management experience, ideally within CRM, sales enablement, SaaS, or enterprise software.
- Proven experience owning product strategy, roadmaps, and commercial performance.
- Experience incorporating AI capabilities into software products.
- Strong understanding of product management methodologies, KPIs, and data-driven decision-making.
- Experience leading and developing product teams.
- Knowledge of equipment sales, rental, parts/service, dealer networks, or similar lifecycle environments strongly preferred.
- Experience with ERP/DMS platforms or integrated enterprise software ecosystems is highly desirable.
- Industry experience within heavy equipment, construction, agriculture, material handling, automotive, commercial trucking, or another dealer-focused market is a plus.
- Strong technical aptitude with the ability to partner effectively with Engineering.
- Excellent executive communication, strategic thinking, and cross-functional leadership skills.
Bachelor’s degree required; MBA or advanced degree preferred.
