Job Description

Commercial/Industrial HVAC Technician Location: Columbus, GA

Job Type: Full-time, Year-Round

Pay: $30 - $55 per hour + Sign-On Bonus

 

Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced, high-end Commercial/Industrial HVAC Technicians to join our growing team. This is a stable, year-round career opportunity with guaranteed 40-hour work weeks. The ideal candidate is self-motivated and possesses a strong work ethic. You will be responsible for performing preventive maintenance, servicing, and troubleshooting HVAC equipment for high-end commercial customers.

Responsibilities
  • Perform preventative maintenance and service on Commercial and Industrial HVAC equipment.
  • Diagnose and troubleshoot complex electrical and mechanical issues in a timely manner.
  • Work with others to solve customer issues, demonstrating strong communication skills with both customers and fellow employees.
  • Finish jobs professionally and efficiently, with minimal to no supervision.
  • Be available for an on-call rotation every five weeks.

 

Qualifications
  • Experience:
  • At least 3-5 years of experience as a Commercial/Industrial HVAC Technician.
  • Experience with commercial package units ranging from 15 to 50 tons.
  • Experience with chillers, boilers, and controls automation is preferred.
  • Specific experience with Trane CGAM or similar screw/scroll compressor setups is highly desired.
  • Certifications:
  • EPA Section 608 Universal Certification is preferred but not required.
  • Skills:
  • Proficient troubleshooting and diagnostic skills.
  • Ability to read blueprints and wiring diagrams.
  • Reliable, customer-oriented, and a strong work ethic.
  • Other:
  • Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record required.
  • Must be able to pass a drug screening, background check, and Motor Vehicle Record check.
