James G. Abruzzo is an international executive recruitment and talent acquisition leader with deep expertise across the executive search industry and broader talent function.

For more than 20 years, James has been at the forefront of strategic executive search, beginning his career with one of the world’s leading retained executive search firms and later founding JGA Partners, a firm focused on advising and supporting retained search organizations around the world. Through JGA Partners, he worked closely with many of the industry’s most respected firms, helping them build offices, launch practice groups, and recruit, onboard, and mentor hundreds of executive search professionals across multiple markets and functions.

At TriSearch, James serves as Head of Talent and Search Practice, where he focuses on expanding the firm’s executive search capabilities and supporting clients in building high-impact leadership teams. His experience spans collaboration with professionals from many of the world’s top executive search firms, regional recruiting organizations, and independent entrepreneurs, giving him a unique perspective on how top-performing talent organizations are built and scaled. James is based in New York.
