Senior Operations Site Lead (Onsite | San Francisco, CA)
We are partnering with a high-growth, tech-forward organization to hire a Senior Operations Site Lead to lead onsite workforce operations across the Bay Area. This is a highly visible, hands-on role responsible for driving operational excellence, strengthening processes, and elevating the employee experience at scale.
This position is a backfill for a promoted leader and comes with urgency. The team is seeking a more senior, process-oriented professional who can move the function from a reactive support model to a proactive, solutions-driven operation.
What You Will Do
- Lead day-to-day onsite workforce operations across multiple Bay Area locations
- Serve as the primary escalation point for employee relations, HR, payroll, and operational issues
- Manage and guide a small onsite team (approximately 3 - 7 representatives), driving accountability and performance
- Build, implement, and continuously refine SOPs, KPIs, and workforce health metrics (e.g., attrition, attendance)
- Partner closely with client stakeholders, ensuring strong communication and service delivery
- Oversee onboarding, orientation, and employee readiness from day one
- Identify risks, trends, and operational gaps, and proactively resolve issues before escalation
- Travel regularly to regional sites and occasionally to other locations as needed
What We Are Looking For
- 5+ years of experience in operations, HR, workforce management, or employee experience
- Experience supporting large, onsite workforces (50+ employees) in fast-paced, high-volume environments
- Strong judgment and professionalism in handling sensitive employee and client situations
- Proven ability to build and improve processes, with a highly proactive mindset
- Experience managing or mentoring team members (directly or indirectly)
- Background in staffing, field HR, or multi-site environments (e.g., logistics, retail, hospitality, manufacturing) strongly preferred
- Comfortable working in dynamic, high-growth environments, ideally with exposure to tech-driven or innovative industries
- Tech-savvy, with strong systems and Excel skills; interest in leveraging tools and automation to improve operations is a plus

Role Details
- Location: San Francisco, CA (onsite with regular regional travel)
- Schedule: Monday - Friday
- Compensation: $95,000 - $125,000 base salary
