COMPENSATION: $65,000-$75,000

PURPOSE
Seeking a highly creative and strategic Copywriter to help shape and elevate our brand voice across every touchpoint. This role is more than writing—it’s about bringing ideas to life, telling stories that resonate, and creating work that makes people feel something.
You’ll partner closely with Brand and Marketing to concept and execute campaigns that drive awareness, engagement, and growth—while ensuring every word reflects the energy, inclusivity, and personality that define us. From digital ads and website content to member communications and internal documents, this position plays a critical role in driving brand awareness, member engagement, and overall business growth.
RESPONSIBILITIES
· Concept and write clear, engaging, and on-brand copy across channels including websites, digital ads, direct mail, social media, email campaigns, SMS, blogs, and in-app messaging.
· Own copy development from brief through final execution, ensuring ideas are strategically sound and creatively compelling.
· Write effective ad copy for social media campaigns and search engine marketing (SEM).
· Partner with the Brand and Marketing teams to concept and execute creative campaigns that align with business objectives.
· Create compelling content for internal communications, sales materials, and corporate documents.
· Act as the steward of our brand voice, ensuring consistency, clarity, and emotional resonance across all prospect and member touchpoints.
· Stay up to date with cultural, digital, and fitness industry trends to inspire fresh and innovative messaging strategies.
· Collaborate with designers, marketers, and other stakeholders to deliver cohesive creative solutions.
· Participate in creative brief development, brainstorming sessions, and campaign ideation, contributing original concepts and storytelling approaches.
· Edit and proofread copy to ensure accuracy, clarity, and high editorial standards.

REQUIREMENTS
· 3–5 years of professional copywriting experience (agency or in-house).
· Strong portfolio showcasing a range of copywriting samples across digital and print platforms.
· Exceptional grammar, spelling, and punctuation skills with keen attention to detail.
· Proven experience writing high-performing ad copy for social, search, and digital campaigns.
· Solid understanding of SEO writing principles and digital content optimization.
· Familiarity with CMS platforms, analytics dashboards, and A/B testing methods to inform and refine copy effectiveness.
· Excellent communication, collaboration, and presentation skills.
· Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet tight deadlines.
· Familiarity with the fitness industry, trends, and terminology is a strong plus.
· Curious, proactive, adaptable, and passionate about storytelling and connecting with audiences.
WORKING CONDITIONS
Primary work in a fitness facility and office setting. Temperature variations can occur. The environment includes some ambient noise such as talking and use of gym equipment and machinery.
PHYSICAL AND MENTAL ACTIVITIES AND REQUIREMENTS
· Talking: Especially where one must frequently convey detailed or important instructions or ideas accurately, loudly, or quickly.
· Physical Strength: Sitting, standing and walking. Must be able to lift, push, pull, and move a minimum of 30 pounds.
· Reasoning Ability: Ability to deal with a variety of variables under limited standardization. Able to interpret various instructions and relay instructions to clients.
· Attendance is an essential duty of the position. Employees must work regularly scheduled shifts, during business hours to assist members and sell services in-person.
