The Opportunity: We are seeking a highly driven, self-motivated Sales Executive with a true hunter mentality to join our expanding team. You will be instrumental in identifying key decision-makers within large organizations and building long-term relationships through a consultative and technically-driven sales approach. Key Responsibilities:
- Proactive Opportunity Generation: Aggressively identify and pursue new business opportunities through cold calling, networking, and strategic outreach. This role demands a self-starter who doesn't wait for leads but actively creates their own.
- High-Volume Outreach: Be comfortable and effective in making a high volume of calls and outreach daily (100+ calls/day if needed) to connect with potential clients.
- Complex Solution Selling: Articulate and sell complex commercial roofing solutions, leveraging a strong technical aptitude to explain the "why" behind our design-build methodology.
- Decision-Maker Engagement: Skillfully identify and engage with ultimate decision-makers (those who sign the checks) within client organizations, navigating intricate corporate structures to build relationships at the highest levels.
- Pipeline Management: Take full ownership of your sales pipeline, managing time and priorities effectively to move opportunities forward.
- Long Sales Cycle Management: Patiently and persistently manage sales cycles ranging from 3 to 9 months, maintaining momentum and overcoming obstacles.
- Travel: Travel approximately 25-50% for client meetings, site visits, and industry events as needed.
- Collaboration: Participate in team selling efforts, discussing deals and collaborating with internal stakeholders throughout the sales process.
- CRM Proficiency: Utilize CRM systems effectively to track activities, manage leads, and report on progress.
What We're Looking For (Must-Haves):
- Proven Hunter Mentality: Demonstrated ability to proactively create sales opportunities from scratch, with a strong track record in cold calling, networking, and prospecting.
- 5+ Years of Sales Experience: A minimum of 5 years of seasoned sales experience, with a strong preference for candidates with 10+ years in a hunter-focused role.
- Commercial B2B Sales Background: Experience selling complex solutions business-to-business in a commercial or industrial setting. Experience in commercial roofing or a technically-driven industrial sales environment is highly advantageous.
- Technical Acumen: Ability to quickly learn and articulate technical aspects of commercial roofing systems and explain complex solutions in a relatable, persuasive way.
- Resilience & Persistence: Possess grit, thrive on closing deals, and quickly bounce back from rejection in a long sales cycle environment.
- Independent Self-Starter: Proven ability to take initiative, work autonomously, and manage a pipeline effectively without constant hand-holding.
- Confident Communicator: Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, capable of building trust quickly and speaking with clarity to clients, executives, and groups.

- Competitive Base Salary:
- Year 1: $110,000 ($75k for first 6 months, $35k for second 6 months)(to help grow your book as you start)
- Year 2+: $60,000
- Aggressive Commission Structure: Uncapped commission with high earning potential based on sales performance.
- Example: Selling $5 million in roofing can result in total compensation of $250,000.
