Engineering Project Manager – Aviation Infrastructure
Location: Houston, TX (with travel)
This is not just about “keeping projects on track”—it’s about driving them forward. A delayed milestone here can compromise aircraft readiness and client trust.
Our client is looking for a Project Manager, with an Engineering Degree, who thrives in high-stakes environments, connecting engineering, production, installation teams, and clients to deliver projects on time, on budget, and without excuses.
They are a fast-growing team (75+ employees) developing next-generation fire protection systems that replace toxic PFAS firefighting foam with an environmentally safe alternative. Their solution has already been adopted by the U.S. military and leading commercial clients, and our mission is to eliminate PFAS chemicals from hangars worldwide.
What You’ll Do
- Lead projects from design through installation.
- Build strong client and subcontractor relationships.
- Anticipate risks, escalate quickly, and keep projects moving.
- Translate lessons learned into smarter designs and cleaner installs.
- Support milestone billing and cash flow management.
What We’re Looking For
- Bachelor’s in Mechanical, Fire Protection, Electrical, or Civil Engineering.
- 5+ years of project management experience with NAVFAC, USACE, or aviation/hangar projects.
- Strong communicator, problem-solver, and process improver.
- Willingness to travel 2–3 times/month.
Benefits
- 4+ weeks paid vacation (increasing with tenure).
- Company-paid health insurance; dental, vision, life options.
- Fitness perks.
- Stock options (earned, not given).
Culture
