DIVISION LEADER - Access Control
Our client a leading regional provider of custom driveway gate systems is seeking a transformative executive to lead and scale its Access Control Division. This well-established and rapidly growing firm combines craftsmanship with modern automation and security technology to deliver high-end solutions to residential, commercial, and institutional clients.
This role is a rare opportunity for a seasoned access control expert to build and lead a division as a standalone P&L unit. The successful candidate will bring deep technical knowledge, leadership experience, and a strong industry network.
With high levels of autonomy, this executive will shape strategy, establish technical standards, and lead a dedicated team of technicians and project managers. The role includes influence over system architecture, vendor selection, team growth, and client acquisition. What we're looking for:
- Minimum 5 years of hands-on experience in access control and integrated gate systems, preferably with automated driveway gate systems.
- Working knowledge of gate operators, safety sensors, loops, and detection systems.
- Strong track record in team leadership, project management, and customer engagement.
- Ability to design and install end-to-end solutions, including hardware, wiring, software, and connectivity.
- Familiarity with UL325/NFPA codes and low-voltage requirements is a plus.
- Manufacturer certifications and a network of contacts in the security or gate automation industry.
