We are seeking an ambitious Accountant to join our Kilgore team during this exciting expansion. Key Responsibilities:
- General Ledger & Reporting: Maintain the general ledger, prepare and post journal entries, and assist with internal financial statements.
- Reconciliations: Perform monthly, quarterly, and year-end account reconciliations to ensure 100% accuracy.
- Operational Support: Support month-end and year-end close processes while assisting with inventory accounting and fixed asset tracking.
- Audit & Compliance: Ensure compliance with GAAP and internal controls; assist with internal and external audits.
- Collaboration: Work closely with the Plant Controller and operational teams to identify and resolve accounting discrepancies.
What We Are Looking For:
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance is required.
- Experience: Minimum of 3 years of accounting experience; manufacturing background is strongly preferred.
- Software: Proficiency in QuickBooks is essential. Experience with M1 ERP is a major plus.
- Skills: Strong understanding of GAAP, advanced Excel skills, and a high level of professionalism when handling confidential data.
- Leadership: A confident communicator who is comfortable supervising staff and speaking with vendors even in stressful situations.
The Details:
- Compensation:$52,000 – $85,000 annually (commensurate with experience).
- Schedule: Full-time, M-F in-office in Kilgore, TX.
- Benefits: Comprehensive package including health, vision, dental, and a 401K with a 3% match.
