Account Manager/ Business Developer (Commercial HVAC & Technical Services)
Location: Windsor, CO (Northern Colorado/Wyoming Territory)
Position Type: Full-Time
Base Salary:$125,000 Base Salary+ Uncapped Commission(5% of Gross Profit)
OTE(On-Target-Earnings) is approximately $175,000
The Opportunity
We are a leading facility solutions provider seeking a dynamic Account Manager to join our growing team in Windsor. This is not a typical "sit-at-the-desk" sales role; it is a "Seller-Doer" hybrid designed for a technical professional who enjoys both strategic business development and hands-on project oversight. You will be the primary point of contact for our clients, identifying critical equipment needs, collaborating with our internal technical teams to design solutions, and managing projects through to completion.
Key Responsibilities
- Relationship Management (Farmer Focus): Develop and maintain deep relationships with existing contract customers in commercial, healthcare, government, and industrial sectors.
- Technical Solutioning: Conduct site assessments to identify issues with critical building systems, such as chillers, boilers, and RTUs.
- End-to-End Project Ownership: Partner with our internal Performance Solutions team to develop concepts, own the estimation process, and present compelling proposals to decision-makers.
- Operational Oversight: Monitor project execution, budgets, and quality standards from contract signing through final billing.
- Market Expansion: Identify and pursue new business opportunities within the Northern Colorado and Wyoming territory.
Candidate Requirements
- Experience: 3+ years of account management or sales experience specifically within the construction or technical services industry.
- Technical Knowledge: Ability to identify and discuss commercial HVAC equipment (chillers, boilers, cooling towers) with clients to earn trust and provide accurate solutions.
- Industry Background: Previous experience in HVAC service sales, equipment sales, or technical estimating is highly preferred.
- Communication: Excellent negotiation and presentation skills, with the ability to interface directly with facility owners and executives.
- Logistics: Must have a valid driver’s license and reside within a reasonable commute of Windsor, CO (ideally living north of Denver).
