Reports to: CMO/President – Industrial Solutions Group

Compensation: €175,000-€200,000 EUR

We are seeking a strategic and visionary Vice President to head our global aftermarket operations within our Industrial Solutions group. This pivotal role offers the exciting opportunity to shape the future of our aftermarket business, drive significant revenue and profit growth, and foster deep customer loyalty on a worldwide scale.


As a key member of the Industrial Solutions leadership team, reporting directly to the CMO/President, you will be instrumental in integrating global aftermarket teams under a unified vision. You will be responsible for developing and executing innovative, cost-effective, and high-quality service and solutions that meet the evolving needs of our customers. This will involve a thorough assessment of our current market position, installed base, and existing offerings to identify and implement strategic growth opportunities.

What you'll do:

  • Develop and execute a comprehensive global aftermarket strategy to drive revenue growth, expand margins, and enhance customer loyalty.
  • Create and implement business plans for parts and retrofits, field service repair, and consultative services, including the development of integrated solution sets.
  • Lead the development of revenue forecasts, budgets, and organizational structures aligned with a customer-centric and profitable aftermarket organization.
  • Champion the implementation of a "Lifecycle Solutions" strategy across the Industrial Solutions group.
  • Establish and maintain efficient aftermarket parts and service processes, leveraging technologies like Salesforce and PowerBI, and driving business process automation.
  • Oversee the creation and maintenance of a global aftermarket database and infrastructure for sales management, installed base tracking, and pricing.
  • Drive the adoption of effective sales funnel management methodologies.
  • Ensure global pricing tools are accurate and effectively utilized.
  • Lead the training and development of the global aftermarket team, providing the necessary tools and processes for sales and service excellence.
  • Establish and monitor annual global and local aftermarket targets aligned with operational and financial objectives.
  • Analyze profitability by customer, region, and product line to develop strategies for margin maximization.
  • Collaborate with operations to determine optimal local stocking levels.
  • Develop and maintain a minimum 3-year global aftermarket Strategic Plan (STRAP) with clear initiatives for incremental sales and margin growth.
  • Lead the development of global aftermarket product portfolio expansion roadmaps, including service enhancements, retrofit kits, and additional parts offerings.
  • Build and lead global aftermarket sales teams with defined growth targets and aligned incentive plans.
  • Partner with global and local Sales Directors to develop and implement aftermarket account plans for key customer accounts.
  • Review sales updates and manage budgets effectively.
  • Create dashboards to drive performance and continuous improvement in customer service, warranty costs, and overall service delivery.
  • Collaborate with corporate marketing to develop effective marketing channels and campaigns for the global aftermarket business.
  • Contribute to talent assessments and assist in identifying potential acquisitions to accelerate growth in relevant markets.


What you'll bring:

  • A minimum of ten years of progressive professional experience in a relevant field.
  • At least five years in a senior management role with significant decision-making responsibility.
  • A proven track record of successfully growing a global aftermarket business.
  • Exceptional ability to balance strategic thinking with a hands-on approach and attention to detail.
  • A proactive and high-energy approach with a demonstrated ability to lead change initiatives.
  • Experience as a practical change manager with examples of successful execution of substantial change.
  • An entrepreneurial drive and a strong "get it done" mentality.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively interact at all levels of an organization and within the marketplace.
  • Comfort and willingness to travel globally(initially potentially up to 50%).
  • Experience working in an international environment, with previous overseas experience or education being a plus.
  • Strong analytical and data interpretation skills, with comfort using relevant software applications.
  • A collaborative mindset with the ability to work effectively across divisions and organizational levels, while maintaining a strong focus on delivering results.

Education:

  • A Bachelor's degree is required (MBA preferred). An Engineering degree is also highly desirable.

Reporting Structure:

  • This role reports directly to the CMO/President of Industrial Solutions.

Team Structure:

  • Direct reports will include Regional Aftermarket Sales Directors and Aftermarket Managers across North America, South America, EMEA, and Asia.
