About the Opportunity
We are seeking an experienced Sales Operations Manager to support a large, established organization with a complex sales and operational environment. This individual will play a key role in improving sales processes, strengthening operational execution, analyzing business performance, and ensuring sales teams have the systems, information, and support needed to effectively serve customers.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone who combines sales operations experience with strong analytical, systems, and process-improvement capabilities and enjoys working cross-functionally with sales, operations, production, inventory, and other business teams.
What You’ll Do
- Evaluate and improve sales processes, workflows, and procedures to increase efficiency and eliminate bottlenecks.
- Manage and support CRM and sales technology tools.
- Analyze sales, account, volume, inventory, and operational data to identify trends, risks, and opportunities.
- Monitor key operational metrics including order accuracy, pricing accuracy, stock availability, backorders, inventory levels, and on-time delivery.
- Partner with sales and operational teams to coordinate production releases and customer delivery requirements.
- Oversee workflows involving order processing, contract administration, pricing, and customer rebate programs.
- Develop reports, spreadsheets, presentations, and operational documentation for leadership.
- Support sales order documentation, pricing sheets, customer records, quotes, and sales tracking.
- Help resolve non-standard customer and order issues.

What We’re Looking For
- 5+ years of relevant sales management, sales operations, or closely related experience.
- Experience within building materials, manufacturing, industrial products, distribution, or a similarly complex operational environment strongly preferred.
- Experience working with CRM, ERP, or sales/order management systems. Requires experience with AS400/IBM i.
- Strong understanding of sales operations, order management, pricing, inventory, and customer support processes.
- Demonstrated ability to analyze data and translate findings into actionable process improvements.
- Strong Excel and Microsoft Office skills.
- Experience developing and implementing new processes and procedures.
- Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to work across multiple departments.
- Previous leadership, supervisory, or team-coaching experience.
