  • Drive operational efficiency, prescription accuracy, turnaround times, and service-level performance while maintaining regulatory compliance.
  • Establish, monitor, and improve key performance indicators (KPIs), including fill rates, dispensing accuracy, cost per prescription, productivity, and customer satisfaction.
  • Identify opportunities to streamline workflows, optimize resources, improve processes, and support increased prescription volume.
  • Oversee pharmacy automation, technology, and operational systems to improve efficiency and scalability.
  • Ensure effective inventory management, cold chain oversight, and adherence to applicable regulatory requirements.

Team Leadership & Development

  • Build a culture of accountability, collaboration, continuous improvement, and operational excellence.
  • Coach and mentor pharmacy leaders while ensuring teams are aligned with organizational objectives.

Strategic Leadership & Collaboration

  • Partner with senior leadership to develop and execute operational strategies that support business growth and evolving client needs.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including IT, finance, human resources, client services, and other operational departments.
  • Lead change management and process improvement initiatives focused on productivity, quality, cost optimization, and scalability.
  • Ensure operational performance meets established service-level agreements (SLAs), client expectations, and organizational goals.
  • Support ongoing expansion initiatives while maintaining consistent operational performance and patient service standards.

Qualifications

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy (BS Pharm) or Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) degree.
  • 15+ years of progressive experience in pharmacy operations, including at least 5 years in senior-level management.

  • Proven ability to improve operational KPIs, implement process improvements, manage change, and drive cost efficiencies.
  • Experience leveraging pharmacy management systems, automation, and technology to improve performance.
