VP of Sales - Macomb, MI - Manufacturing
Position Summary
The Vice President of Sales is a key strategic leadership role responsible for driving global sales performance, expanding market presence, and strengthening customer relationships for entire portfolio of innovative fastening solutions. Reporting directly to the President, this executive will lead the commercial strategy for both domestic and international markets, with full accountability for revenue growth, customer acquisition, and profitability.
The ideal candidate will bring strong leadership experience, proven P&L responsibility, and a technical background in threaded fastener technologies, including preferred experience with resin, adhesive, and lubricant coatings for threaded applications.
Key Responsibilities
Sales Strategy & Leadership
· Develop and execute a comprehensive global sales strategy to drive profitable growth in existing and new markets.
· Lead a high-performing sales team, providing coaching, direction, and accountability to achieve performance targets.
· Identify and pursue new business opportunities in OEM, industrial, and automotive markets.
Customer & Market Development
· Build and maintain strong relationships with key customers, distributors, and industry partners worldwide.
· Lead contract negotiations, pricing strategies, and customer service initiatives that support long-term relationships and profitability.
· Analyze market trends, customer feedback, and competitive landscape to inform product positioning and sales approach.
Cross-Functional Collaboration
· Partner closely with marketing, engineering, operations, and product development to ensure alignment between customer needs and company capabilities.
· Collaborate with leadership across organization to drive synergies, share best practices, and support strategic initiatives.
Financial Oversight
· Maintain full P&L responsibility for the sales organization.
