Job Description

Studio Field Manager

Location: Illinois (Travel to Wisconsin & Indiana required)

About the Role

We are a leading national fitness organization in hiring a Studio Field Manager to oversee and elevate the performance of their boutique-style training programs across 15 locations in Illinois, Wisconsin, and Indiana.

This is a hands-on, in-club leadership role focused on coaching instructors, improving class quality, supporting Studio program execution, and driving usage and sales performance across multiple clubs.

The ideal candidate has a background in boutique fitness, instructor development, and multi-site operations with the ability to influence leaders without direct authority.

Key Responsibilities

  • Observe and evaluate Studio classes to ensure high-quality coaching and consistent program execution.
  • Train and develop instructors to improve delivery, cueing, engagement, and overall member experience.
  • Build and deliver training resources, onboarding guides, and scalable learning materials.
  • Partner with General Managers, District Managers, Regional leadership, and Fitness Team Leads to drive Studio program performance.
  • Ensure teams follow Studio sales processes, including guest-to-member journey, POS interactions, and upgrade conversations.
  • Support Studio initiatives that improve usage, retention, class quality, and overall financial results.
  • Serve as a field presence across 15 clubs—spending the majority of the week in-club.

Qualifications

  • 2+ years of experience teaching in a boutique fitness environment (HIIT, functional training, cycling, Pilates, boxing, etc.).
  • Experience coaching or developing instructors (required).
  • 1+ year of leadership or management experience (preferred).
  • Nationally accredited Group Fitness or Personal Training certification (required).
  • Strong communication, teaching, and leadership presence.
  • Ability to influence and collaborate with club leaders across multiple locations.
  • Passion for fitness, wellness, and community-driven member experiences.
  • Ability to travel frequently across IL, WI, and IN; some weekend work may be required.

What We’re Looking For

  • Someone who thrives in the clubs—not behind a desk.
  • A leader who can coach, motivate, and influence field teams without direct reports.
  • A confident instructor-development leader who can scale training across multiple studios.
  • A structured, high-accountability operator who can drive performance across multiple sites.
